The brief
User-generated content outsells studio advertising, and everybody in the region knows it. What nobody had was a straight line between the brand that needs a reel and the creator who can shoot one. The work was happening in DMs: no brief worth the name, no agreed price, no delivery date, and no way to pay that either side trusted.
KonTnT came to us with the market thesis and a hard constraint — the product had to serve two completely different users without becoming two completely different apps. A product owner wants a campaign delivered. A creator wants a queue of paid work. Both wanted the same evening to be enough to learn it.
What we designed
The account chooser is the whole architecture in one screen. Pick I'm a Product Owner or I'm a Creator and the app rearranges around that answer while keeping one shape: a balance, a primary action, and a list of what is currently in flight. The brand's list is orders it has placed; the creator's is tasks it has accepted. Same furniture, opposite ends of the same transaction.
Ordering is the part that had to feel like nothing at all, so it was broken into five numbered steps that never leave the screen: platform and duration, then a template with its concept and call to action, then the creators whose audience matches, then a summary with a real delivery window, then payment. Nothing is a free-text field where a choice would do — that is what makes the resulting brief something a creator can shoot from without a single follow-up message.
What we built
Native-feeling apps for iOS and Android, a backend that runs the order pipeline and the matching, an in-app wallet with card top-ups and an escrow-style hold so a creator is never chasing an invoice, and the marketing site the store listings point at. Vetting is a first-class part of the model rather than a policy page: every creator is interviewed before they can be listed, which is the only reason a brand can pick from a grid instead of auditioning.
- Role-aware shell — one build, two navigations, chosen at sign-up.
- Five-step order flow — brief, template, creator, summary, payment.
- Wallet & checkout — balance, top-up, card and third-party rails.
- Delivery pipeline — upload, review and release, all in-app.
- Creator vetting — an interviewed, curated supply side.
“The marketplace for content creators that can give your marketing the push it needs.”
Where it landed
KonTnT is live on the App Store and Google Play, operating out of Dubai. The brief a brand fills in on a phone in five taps is the same brief a creator shoots from, and the payment attached to it settles in the same app — which was the entire point.
